About The Whales
Catch sight of the southern hemisphere humpback whales as they travel north past the Byron Bay headlands. The migration of whales is a significant feat and a spectacular event to witness as they frolic in the bay and treat us to their lovely nature.
At more than 2,500-kms, this is considered one of the longest migrations in the animal kingdom. Witnessing this stunning spectacular is easy from Australia’s most easterly point.
