Tyagarah Beach Byron Bay
You are here
Tyagarah Beach, accessed via Grays Lane through the National Park, is a remote beach far less crowded than those located closer to Byron Bay town.
The Tyagarah Nature Reserve, which protects beautiful coastline between Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads, is located behind the beach.
The ‘clothes optional’ section of Tyagarah is located 500 m west of Belongil Creek.
During whale season, whales and their calves can be spotted returning to Antarctica from the beach.
