Riversleigh is the oldest two storey timber building remaining in the Ballina Shire and is a unique example of a timber Victorian Georgian style building.

It is a unique example of a timber Victorian Georgian style building. Riversleigh was built in 1879 by the Heugh family who operated a local saw-mill. Cedar is used extensively throughout the building in wall panelling, the main staircase, architraves and skirting boards with the floors being wide cut teak.

Riversleigh has been lovingly restored to offer guests contemporary elegance with luxurious guest rooms, all with modern ensuite bathrooms. Now you can enjoy fabulous bed and breakfast accommodation in this historic building.
