Children’s African Drum

September/October School Holiday sessions – Mondays & Wednesdays
This hands on children’s workshop is all round family fun! Including drumming, dancing and storytelling of the lifestyle in Ghana, West Africa.

Gabriel brings all the instruments and everyone has this rare opportunity to participate, learn new skills and share their unique rhythm.

Playing music in a group is a valuable communion in Africa. It is beneficial to eliminate social barriers, increases self confidence, promotes focus and mind development, most importantly it’s FUN.

Stories in the Club

Mullumbimby has ‘Politics in the Pub’ and ‘Art in the Pub’ and by August there will be also be ‘Stories in the Club’. Local, award-winning storyteller, Jenni Cargill-Strong, is hosting and curating the monthly community concert and has teamed up with Jennifer Grainger, Events Secretary of the Ngara Institute, (who put on ‘Politics in the Pub’), to co-ordinate the concerts.

Uke Night 6th Birthday All Star Gala

July 2017 marks the 71st consecutive Uke Night for Miss Amber and Stukulele. We are celebrating by inviting anyone who has ever led a song to come and do it again. If that’s you please drop us a line as soon as possible so we can organise the setlist. Save the date Folks.

Dance Workshop with Melbourne City Ballet

Join Melbourne City Ballet for an intensive day of Classical and Contemporary dance.

Uke Night

Uke Night – Easy Tunes – 30 March – Club Mullum from 6:30pm

Miss Amber & Stukulele will be leading 2 sets of easy play songs for you and your ukulele this Thursday 30th March from 6:30pm at Club Mullum in The Ex-Services.
