Tim Freedman Solo Tour - Byron Theatre 14 Nov

Tim Freedman embarks on one of his rare solo tours to launch The Whitlams’ new single “Ballad of Bertie Kidd”, a six minute crime caper that describes a little known escapade in the long career of one of Australia’s most notorious criminals. 
Tim will settle in with his piano to tell tales, reinvent classics like “Blow Up the Pokies” and “No Aphrodisiac” and play some tracks from The Whitlams’ forthcoming album due for release in 2021.

Bangalow Markets @ Bangalow Showgrounds 23 August

Bangalow Markets from 9am on 23 August at the Bangalow Showgrounds (parking available)

On the fourth Sunday of each month, the showgrounds fill with over 300 stalls, and people from near and far are drawn to the town to enjoy the unique atmosphere. The store holders, some of which are unchanged since the markets beginnings in 1982, provide a huge variety of artisan products such as ceramics and woodwork, fresh produce and baked goods, and delicious food and coffee.

Mullumbimby Community Market @ Summers Park - Mullumbimby

The Mullumbimby Museum Market, known as the Mullum Market, is held on the third Saturday of the month. Mullumbimby is an eclectic and scenic town located about a 20-minute drive north of Byron Bay. The town has a personality and style all of its own, which makes Mullum Markets stand out from other markets in the area.

The Channon Market Sunday 9 August

On the second Sunday of each month, the little village known as the Channon comes alive with the amazing Channon Markets. The Channon is located about a 45-minute drive west of Byron Bay, nestled in the hills near Lismore. The Channon markets provide the perfect excuse to take a day outing to the country, and the scenery will not disappoint. The Channon markets were established in 1976 with a strong “make it, bake it, grow it” ethos.

2020 North Coast Mud Trail Sat 15 & Sun 16 August

On August 15 and 16, twenty one ceramicists will open their studios to visitors (with social distancing measures in place) so you can meet the artists, discuss their work and processes and find out what inspires these creative to do what they do.

You will be delighted and surprised by the diversity of work for sale as well as the studios themselves, many of which are in some of the most scenic locations in the region. All artists will have work for sale with no two styles alike, so you will find something to satisfy both your soul and your budget.
