Lismore Carboot Market

The Lismore Carboot Markets are one of the most unique and exciting markets on the Far North Coast. The Markets are located undercover in the parking lot of Lismore Shopping Square in Lismore, which is about a 45-minute drive south west of Byron Bay. Because the markets are undercover, they are a great way to spend a rainy day. The market takes place on the first and third Sundays of each month, except the third Sunday of December.

Pottsville Beach Markets

The Pottsville Beach Neighborhood Centre, known as the PBNC, hosts the popular Pottsville Beach Markets. These markets are located on the Phillip Street Reserve in the beachside town of Pottsville, which is a about a half an hour drive north of Byron Bay. Pottsville is certainly worth the drive, especially if you make the trip on market day. The markets are held on both the first and third Sunday of each moth.

Pottsville is known for its lovely, sandy beaches. It is a must to take a stroll along the waters edge.

Brunswick Heads Markets

The Brunswick Heads Markets are held on the first Saturday of every month. Brunswick Heads is a charming beachside town located 15 minutes north of Byron Bay. The whole town has a classic family holiday feel, as it is a great spot for fishing, picnics, swimming in the river, and eating fish and chips. The pristine Brunswick River makes for an incredibly scenic backdrop to the many cafes, restaurants, playgrounds, and shops, and, of course, to the markets.

Bangalow Markets

Set below the shade of the camphor laurel and fig trees, the Bangalow markets are some of the best on the North Coast. Bangalow is a small, historical town about 20 minutes south-west of Byron Bay. The picturesque streets are lined with nineteenth-century buildings that house boutique shops, quality restaurants, and gourmet cafes. Check these out before you leave! Behind the primary school is the Bangalow Showgrounds (where market parking is available), and adjacent to these are the Bangalow markets.

The Channon Market

On the second Sunday of each month, the little village known as the Channon comes alive with the amazing Channon markets. The Channon is located about a 45-minute drive west of Byron Bay, nestled in the hills near Lismore. The Channon markets provide the perfect excuse to take a day outing to the country, and the scenery will not disappoint.

Byron Bay Markets

NOTE - Byron Community markets move to the beachfront, 4 August 2019 - February 2020.

Byron Bay's Community Market, held at the Butler Street reserve, is one of the best in the region. Covering several acres, the market offers a vast array of handcrafted wares, locally-grown produce, and artworks of every kind. It's best to get there early and allow a few hours to take in all the stalls, indulge in some fresh food and culture.

Byron Artisan Night Market

The Byron Bay Artisan Market is held every Saturday night from 4pm until 9pm on an extended Summer period – from October up until Easter. The market is held in Railway Park on Jonson Street right in the centre of town, among the hustle and bustle of shops, resurants and cafes. It’s a great place to drop in before or after dinner.

This boutique night market focuses on direct-from-the-artist products and produce. Artists of all kinds gather to sell clothing, jewellery, leatherwork, artworks, and more. You won’t have any trouble finding the perfect gift.

Byron Beachside Market

The Byron Bay Beachside Markets are held four times each year: in early January, Easter, mid-July and in late September. The markets are located on the foreshore of Main Beach, east of the Surf Club in Byron Bay. The Markets open at 8am and run until 4pm.
