Bangalow Flea Markets

Founded by a local Bangalow family, these markets offer a collection of stalls from established businesses, regular market vendors and locals wanting to sell their pre-loved items - garage sale style. 

Bangalow Flea Markets are held on the second Saturday of each month, 8am - 3-pm, at the Bangalow Primary School.

Surf Markets – Presented by Byron Bay Surf Festival

The Surf Markets are set to kick off at 9:00am (8am for yoga), Saturday morning at the Byron Bay Surf Festival's venue for 2020 in The Byron Bay Brewery front carpark.

Mullum Twilight Market Christmas Special

Saturday Dec 1st 3pm to 9pm in the grass of the Mullum Leagues Club. Santa visit for the kids.

Gather your family and friends for a Twilight picnic on the lush green grass of the Mullum Leagues club for a special Christmas market featuring delicious foodies (lots of vegan and veggie options) creative and vintage stalls, outdoor bar and live music all night

The Byron Twilight Market takes place every Saturday, 4pm – 9pm from 29 August 2020 – 24 April 2021 at Railway Park, Byron Bay.

Please note: The Byron Markets are a Covid-Safe site. Customers are required to observe:

  • That there are capacity limits in place for the markets
  • Please sanitise your hands regularly
  • You are to keep social distancing of 1.5m
  • Contactless pay is preferred
  • If you are unwell (fever, cough or sore throat), do not enter the markets & please return home  


Summer Mama + Me Markets

This will be our biggest and last market of the year, so come celebrate with us. The Byron Flea is a monthly market nestled in the parklands behind the Byron Bay Library right in the centre of town.

Peddle and Hawk

This Saturday at the Peddle and Hawk Market from 1am – 3pm ( beer garden open til 5pm) you can expect:

* an amazing musical line up with two stages:
@Kulchajam Jo and Toby from TORA, Yoyo Tuki, Droplegs (acoustic) and Katia Demeester
@Lume Gallery Chopsuey, Sunnysideup and Kosha D DJs the freshest vinyl in town

* a beer garden at LUME gallery sponsored by Stone and Wood operating from 1pm-5pm so all us hardworking marketeers can catch up and have a sunset bevvie after the garden

Families of Byron and beyond, this is one market you are not going to want to miss! Our last market was a huge success with over 50 amazing stall holders, delicious food, beautiful entertainment and fun for every age.

Our April market will be a fresh take on our family focussed market with many of our favourite stall holders back for more as well as some new brands & products on display.

Peddle and Hawk Markets

“Peddle and Hawk” Acacia St Market is a special event that draws upon the riches of Byron’s Arts Industry Estate to showcase the region’s diverse creative spirits. Closing a section of the arts hub that is Acacia St, participating businesses range from performing arts and yoga studios to functional art galleries, fashion and jewellery. The day provides opportunities for unique creative and entrepreneurial spirit to shine, providing spaces from small suitcase and blanket stalls to more stalls in and around local businesses and on the road verges.

Winter Market for the Bay

Can't get enough the “craft movement” or the “maker movement. The Byron Beachside Market will again take in the views of the Pacific from the Main Beach foreshore with a new winter artisan market on Sat 11 July. Unique handmade arts and crafts are a highlight with many works inspired by the local landscape, culture and lifestyle.

Kingscliff Markets

Kingscliff Markets are managed by the Lions Club of Kingscliff. Held in Jack Bayliss Park on Marine Parade every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month.

Spend a relaxing Saturday morning strolling through the vast array of gourmet food, fresh produce, arts and crafts, jewelry, fashion, flowers and beautiful handmade gift ideas.

There's plenty of parking and toilets available.

Rainbow Region Organic Market

The Rainbow Region Organic Market in Lismore is one of the best organic markets around. This farmers market is held every Tuesday Morning at the Lismore Showgrounds (near the Alexander Parade entrance). It opens bright and early at 7:30am and finished around 11:00am. Lismore is a large town located a 45-minute drive south west of Byron Bay. The town has many large shops, great cafes, and restaurants.

Nimbin Markets

The Nimbin Markets are held on the fourth and fifth Sundays of each month, and are located in the picturesque surroundings of the Nimbin Community Centre. Nimbin is an alternative hippy town located about 70km west of Byron Bay, and about a 40-minute drive from Lismore. Nimbin has its own unique style that is unlike any place in the North Coast region.

Uki Buttery Bazaar Market

Uki is a wonderful little village located less than a half an hour drive from Byron. This is an incredibly scenic drive. The Uki Markets, known as the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market, take place on the third Sunday each month, opening at about 9am and continuing into the early afternoon. People journey from throughout the region to come to these unique markets in the quirky little town.
