Long lunches are held at Frida’s Field every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They are a communal feast with a set menu of multiple dishes shared amongst the members of your booked party (individual serving cutlery is provided in order to comply with COVID regulations).  The lunches are a single sitting commencing at 12:30pm, with drinks available beforehand from the time your booking starts, and wrapping up at around 4pm. 

Just 10 minutes from Bangalow in the Byron Bay Hinterland, Frida’s Field offers contemporary country dining with food that celebrates the seasons and our ecological farming practices.

A family of food-lovers; dedicated to showing that food can be grown in a way that not only tastes amazing, but actively reverses climate change.  

Running the kitchen is Daniel Medcalf - a long-serving Icebergs Group alumni; the former Sous Chef at Icebergs Restaurant in Bondi and Head Chef at The Dolphin in Surry Hills.  Daniel brings well-honed classic techniques and his cooking ethos of “simple, in season and tasty” back to his hometown of Byron Bay.
