Twilight Street Food Market

The Design Collective Markets known on the Gold Coast as the best travelling pop up markets & street food festivals will be launching in Byron Sept 17th, former Byron Shire Local and event coordinator Kat Creasey is excited to bring her vision to her home town with many of the gourmet food vendors travelling from as far as The Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, The GC & of course local foodies! to spoil the Northern Rivers locals.

Byron Bay Tango Festival

After an absence of six years the Byron Bay Tango Festival is on again. All events take place at the Community Centre, right in the heart of the unbelievably beautiful Byron Bay, where spirituality, alternative lifestyles, tourism and beach culture live in harmony and peace.

The core of the festival has been the “immersion”class, where experienced and dedicated dancers are guided by“master”teachers to experience fresh and unique insights into their personal understanding and expression of Argentine Tango.

Mexican Night

Every second Tuesday of the month join us for a Mexican Fiesta. To change up our menu we host a Mexican night full of delicious Mexican food and drink specials. Feel free to get in the spirit and dress up and enjoy the Mexican ambience. Afterall this does only happen once a month.

Byron Yoga Day Festival

NEW DATE - Saturday 25th June. Join the world wide celebrations for the United Nations International Day of Yoga at the first Byron Yoga Day Festival, a FREE community event featuring inspiring teachers, artists, food, stalls and musical performers. A day of fun and festivity for all the family.

Senior’s Week Celebration

Come along to celebrate Senior’s Week at the Byron Community Centre.

The Lismore Lantern Parade

The Lismore Lantern Parade is an annual community arts festival held on or around the longest night of the year, being the Winter Solstice. It is recognised as the iconic event for the City of Lismore along with the North Coast National.

JA NGHARI

In a surprise collaboration, two of the most celebrated establishments in the Byron Shire, HARVEST CAFÉ, and THE THREE BLUE DUCKS, have come together to raise funds for BOOMERANG FESTIVAL, in a unique and exciting dining experience unlike any seen in our region before.

On Friday 18th March at Coorabell Hall, in the magnificent Byron hinterland, together, 'The Ducks' & Harvest teams will present JA NGHARI (Bundjalung for 'Food Gathering') - A celebration of food, country and culture - with a special focus on Indigenous culture.

Taste of Love Festival

The first ever Taste of Love Festival featuring an international, national and local line up of presenters on the topics of sex, love and consciousness is scheduled to debut in Byron Bay.

Building on the momentum created by the ‘Sex & Consciousness Conferences’ held in Byron Bay over the last 7 years, Byron locals Marion Ellyard and Russell Collins are joining forces to create something not done before in Australia.

Mama & Me Market

The Mama + Me Markets will be a showcase of the very best in sustainable products and services created by families, for families on Saturday the 16th of January 2016. Set in the hinterland of Byron Bay, this will be the ultimate event for families on the east coast.
The Mullumbimby Leagues Club will be transformed into a completely family focused festival-like space. From 9am – 2pm we will have the highest quality market stall holders, a jumping castle, face painting, yummy market food and family entertainment. All in a safe, welcoming environment.

V-Day Byron Bay - One Billion Rising

One Billion Rising is the biggest mass action to end violence against women in human history. The campaign, launched on Valentine’s Day 2012, began as a call to action based on the staggering statistic that 1 in 3 women on the planet will be beaten or raped during her lifetime. With the world population at 7 billion, this adds up to more than ONE BILLION WOMEN AND GIRLS.

Byron Bay Starlight Festival

Join us at the Byron Bay Starlight Festival in Bangalow from January 7th to 10th 2016 for four days of spiritual growth, enlightenment and conscious living.

Woodchop Carnival

The Brunswick Carnival is currently regarded as the biggest woodchopping event outside the Sydney and Brisbane shows.

The 2016 Woodchop Carnival runs from January 9 – 16.
