Byron's markets re-opening in August

You are here

Starting with the Byron Bay Community Market on Sunday 2 August, the regions markets are set to re-start in August 2020.

Market managers and organisers from the Northern Rivers, Lismore Council, Richmond Council and Byron Council have agreed to re-open the markets.

This decision was not made lightly. All market managers are under immense pressure to conform to government guidelines and keep their communities safe. When the markets re-open there will be strict restrictions in place and the markets will sadly not look the same as they used to. Things will not be ‘back to normal’. These changes will affect the atmosphere and operations of the markets and they will need your co-operation and support through this.

Please be aware that things can change quickly - so be sure to double check market details directly before attending. Here are the re-start dates with links to each markets' Facebook page to check for updates.
