How Do I Get To Byron Bay?

Byron is located on Australia's Most Easterly Point on the Far North Coast of New South Wales. It is 30 minutes drive from Ballina Airport, or 10 hours driving time from Sydney. It is 60 minutes drive from Coollangatta Airport, or 2 1/2 hours drive from Brisbane.

What Are The Year Round Temperatures?

Byron Bay's average temperature in Summer is 27 degrees Celsius and in Winter is 22 degrees Celsius.

What Is The Best Time Of Year To Be Married In Byron?

Anytime!! Seriously though ... the most popular months to be married seem to be October and April. There is no seasonal reason for this, we have magnificent warm days in June and cool rainy days in November - so get married when the time is right for you!!

What Are Our Options For The Wedding Ceremony?

You can be married by a Civil Celebrant on one of our beautiful beaches, up at The Lighthouse or The Most Easterly Point (there is a licence fee involved to use these latter two areas) or you may wish simply to hold your ceremony on the lawn overlooking the beach, if you choose a beachfront venue for your reception. Alternatively, if you wish to be married in your faith, you may choose a Minister of Religion at one of the dozens of Churches in the area.

What Is The Best Venue To Hold Your Reception In Byron?
