Byron Bay 'Click Hot' Winter Specials

Byron Bay in winter offers visitors much the same as summer, except it is a bit cooler. Plus Byron Bay is known to have one of the best land based whale watching sites in the world. 100's of whales are spotted annually from the Cape Byron Headland Reserve.
June - July is the annual migration of Humpback whales from the icy waters of Antarctica to the warmer waters of Northern Australia. Durring September - October the whales head back down the coast. You can visit our Weather Guide to find out more about our climate.
