Bentley

On the road from Lismore to Kyogle, Bentley is barely a village, and yet in July each year it hosts the Bentley Art Show, which attracts hundreds of people for this well-organised and well-patronised event. Drawn from around the region, photographs and sculptures complement mixed-media artworks, including some Aboriginal work.

The three-day Show is a typically country affair, with barbecues, market stalls and entertainment from a variety of local artists. Judging and prize-giving complete the event, with proceeds being donated to local charities.
