about the yoga: yoga is taught by Jessie Chapman, Australia’s bestselling yoga author of 4 yoga books, as well as other experienced and qualified yoga teachers. The morning practice is more a fluid dynamic Vinyasa style focussing on cleansing, toning and the 'in' and 'out' breath as we move from posture to posture. Afternoon yoga incorporates core strength work, pilates movements, prop usage to stay longer in the postures, remedial and relaxation yoga. All classes include pranayama (regulated breathing techniques) and meditation. Many modifications of the postures are given so you can access the right posture according to your level of flexibility and strength. As well variations are given for those with special needs, injuries or conditions. There's plenty of one-to-one instruction.
