Gunya Maia

A place of rest

Gunya Maia is a special place to soothe your soul, wake to the songs of local bird life before a dip the clear waters of Tallow Beach followed by breakfast on the verandah.

The Aboriginal meaning of the word Maia is Place of Rest and the front corner of the garden is an ancient midden site, still regarded as a sacred place and you can feel it as you stand under the tall Cypress pines that guard this spot.
