Gunya Maia is a special place to soothe your soul, wake to the songs of local bird life before a dip the clear waters of Tallow Beach followed by breakfast on the verandah.
The Aboriginal meaning of the word Maia is Place of Rest and the front corner of the garden is an ancient midden site, still regarded as a sacred place and you can feel it as you stand under the tall Cypress pines that guard this spot.
Features
The house sleeps seven, featuring 4 brightly coloured bedrooms, Master bedroom with king size bed and outdoor ensuite with garden bath, two double bedrooms and a single bedroom each with French doors to access the verandah.
Large daybeds overlooking the expansive private garden provide the ultimate indulgence for a holiday read after a day on the beach.
Indoor and outdoor spaces merge via bifold doors on two walls of the living area.
You will find the house well equipped for cooking, with good quality cookware, white china and gas and electric cooktop oven.
There is a home theatre DVD/CD, Austar Pay TV and VCR.
A five minute walk also connects you to the village, shops, hotel and eateries.
