My name is Gita Dunbar, and I am a trained experienced Marriage Celebrant. I can support you and your partner in designing your wedding ceremony so that it is a truly happy, memorable occasion. The very important decisions you make will shape this magical day and the memory of it will be with you forever. As well, the reflection of this day will be felt in the hearts of family, friends and even those who are unable to share this time with you. I will have a few meetings with you to answer any questions and help you prepare your own unique ceremony; or if you live far away, we can talk on the phone and via email. Out of everything that goes to make up your wedding day, it will be the ceremony that you will remember most. Together we can arrange your ceremony so that it's unforgettable - in whichever wonderful spot in this beautiful Byron Bay area that you have chosen. When the atmosphere and words of your ceremony reflect the love you and your fiance feel for each other, it will be a powerful launch into your new life together. A wedding ceremony that builds on the values of your past, and looks to the future, will speak eloquently to you both, throughout your life together. I would be delighted to help you in composing such a ceremony. Legal Requirements: You can leave the legal work to me (I will of course need a few signatures from you). I will lodge all the appropriate forms. I can email you the initial legal paper, the Notice of Intended Marriage, which you must fill in and sign and send back to me at least 31 days before the wedding day - you would need to get your signatures witnessed by a certified person. I am legally required to sight your birth certificates, (passports are O. K. if you are a visitor to Australia) and divorce papers or death certificates if applicable. I will prepare a lovely booklet of the wording of your ceremony, as a keepsake, so that you will have the words as well as the photos to remind you forever of your magical moment. I promise to be reliable and punctual as you make that special commitment to each other. I look forward to being able to share this wonderful time with you both. If you wish to give me your phone number and a suitable time I will ring you, and we can chat a while - I think it's easier to tell if you like someone, if you can actually hear their voice. Or if you live within an hour of Byron Bay, I would be happy to visit your home, so then you can see me in person.
