We are located at Main Beach just 20 metres from the Pacific Ocean overlooking the mountains and our famous Cape Byron Lighthouse. The Restaurant, housed in the original Bathers Pavilion built in 1951, was refurbished most recently in 2003 and with the addition of the outdoor beachfront deck, is now one of Byron’s best dining locations. The light open interior with cool polished concrete floors spills out onto the deck for breakfast, lunch and romantic sunset dining. The smell of the salt air and sound of the waves are reminiscent of beachside holidays and good times.

We pride ourselves on our commitment to fresh quality food, friendly knowledgeable service and a dining experience you won’t forget. Either relax in our Restaurant with a bottle of wine or grab some takeaway and amble over to the beach. You can even have takeaway with the children at the pool where there is an onsite lifeguard at all times. We also cater for children in the restaurant, the choice is yours.

Have our experienced team co-ordinate your conference dinner, relaxed corporate event or party. We can offer menus to suit your group and cater for all dietary requirements.

Fishheads can offer separate dining inside or out, or even the entire Restaurant which seats 70 guests comfortably. Our BYO licence enables you to supply your own beverages; we can even arrange delivery in advance if you like.
