5 Things You Should Know About Our Premium Package for Accommodation Providers

1. Why List Your Accom | 2. Our Fees | 3. Your Micro-Site | 4. Where to List Your Accom | 5. Get Listed

In order to have your accommodation promoted on the byronbay.com website, you'll need is a 'micro-site'. A 'micro-site' is a one or more webpages that explain your goods &/or services. Your 'micro-site' will usually include your logo, photos, and text as well as your contact details.

There are 2 ways to get your micro-site;

We Create Your Micro-Site
There is no additional charge to have your 'micro-site' created by us, in fact we've created most of the micro-sites you see on byronbay.com. Here's what we'll need;
  1. Have a look at our templates, as one of them will form the basis of your 'micro-site'. Click Here to see our basic templates. If you have an existing website, we can usually make your micro-site look like your full website (provided there are no copyright issues).
  2. Decide if you wish to use our availability calendar &/or our page editor.
  3. Provide us with your text and images - and ideas of layout and colours. We recommend a couple paragraphs of text, bullet points of your main features, a price guide, full contact details and about 6 good quality photos.
  4. We'll seek your input on colour, layout, photo selection, etc - we believe the more imput you have in the custom design of your micro-site, the better it will attract your targeted market.
  5. Within a week (usually), we'll have your micro-site ready for approval - once approved, it gets listed in the appropriate guides throughout byronbay.com.
  6. We do minor updates to micro-sites we created free of charge (we limit it to 3 updates per year. Minor updates include changing a photo or two, changing a rates table, changing contact details, etc. We do charge for our time for more complex updates and re-designs.)

You Use a Third Party Web Designer
We are happy for you to supply us with a micro-site (provided there are no copyright issues). Once we receive your micro-site we;
  1. Test the files to ensure your page(s) load - displaying all your images, etc. We can fix minor problems.
  2. We check your code to ensure it meets our guidelines. We'll remove unnecessary code that may not comply with byronbay.com.
  3. We add our link and tracking code.
  4. It then gets listed in the appropriate guides throughout byronbay.com.

To provide an equitable service to all our clients there are a few simple guidelines all our clients follow in regards to their micro-site;
  1. Each micro-site promotes a single business or property. For example a dive school may offer scuba and snorkeling classes - okay to be listed on one micro-site, someone may own 3 holiday houses - each holiday house needs it's own micro-site.
  2. To best encourage our visitors to use our various guides and to provide an equitable service to all our clients - micro-sites do not link off to other micro-sites or other websites (there is an option for an off-site link explained on our Our Fees page).
  3. All clients must be aware of our regular Terms & Conditions.

This provides you with information on your choices & the process of getting your micro-site organised, we also suggest you take some time and browse through byronbay.com to get a better idea of what information to include on your micro-site & the wide range of styles that are possible.
