Tallow Beach

Right on Tallow Beach, in a private gated estate, is this four bedroom beach house.  The house was designed to provide the quintessential Australian beach holiday with its timber floors, open plan and unpretentious design.

Designed by Brisbane architect Colin Loel, the house is cleverly separated into two parts by an internal breeze way to provide both cooling sea breeze and separation between the two accommodation wings.

On the north are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two single beds, separated by a bathroom. The easterly double room opens on to a generous sized deck, with views through the established park like garden down to the beach.  A day bed folds down to provide another area for rest. To the south and forming part of the main house are two more bedrooms. Again, the eastern room has a queen size bed; the western room accommodates four in bunks.

The kitchen, separated from the main living area by an island bench fashioned from Western Australian Jarrah to match the timber flooring, is well appointed. A large dining table will seat 10 in comfort.

In keeping with the quality of the appliances is a large television, video and CD player.  The living area opens on to an expansive covered deck with views down to the sea.

Access to Tallow Beach is from a path directly in front of the house. Tallow Beach stretches from the lighthouse to Broken Head and offers great surfing, fishing and walking.

The house was designed to provide separate areas to allow for the pursuit of your beach holiday at your pace. Its position allows for total privacy and quiet, even in the busiest of times.
