A professional string quartet with a difference! From the most refined music for your wedding or ceremony, we are able to move with the mood of your day. Our "cocktails and canapes" set is the perfect accompaniment to your celebrations and can be tailored just to your tastes. Later on we can entertain your guests long into the night with our more up-beat arrangements of modern songs. They are all definite crowd pleasers!

The Byron baROCK quartet

If you are planning quite an event, we can also play through a full PA system (i.e. electric string quartet) and add vocals as well as drum Kit. The byron baROCK quartet, has performed the last two years at the Splendour in the Grass Festival and recently at Liquid night club, Byron Bay.

The String Trio

For smaller events (of 30 people or less) you may prefer to book us as a trio. The repertoire for the trio is identical to the string quartet and for more intimate and romantic events, the string trio will create the perfect ambience.

For your peace of mind, Byron Strings have a highly structured bookings system which means leaving nothing to chance. Belinda, the manager, will take the time to discuss with you every aspect of your day, covering things like repertoire choices for the Processional, the Signing and the Recessional and any staging / timing issues. Their vast experience of playing at literally hundreds of weddings on the North Coast furnishes them with the discretionary qualities needed at such important moments in time.
