The ceremony is the heart of your wedding.
Your wedding is about you...
On your wedding day, we are creating memories that will last all your life, and the ceremony you choose is at the very heart of the day, expressing the meaning that will symbolise your marriage for years to come. I am privileged to share those precious moments with you when you and your partner make a lifelong commitment to each other.
My mission is to make sure that the ceremony expresses your feelings and your intentions in your own unique style. I can give you examples of formats and ideas for creating beautiful memories, and an extensive library of readings and poems for you to choose from, or I can assist you to get your own thoughts down on paper.
First Step
Contact me to book your date and we can make a time to discuss the ceremony and fill out the necessary forms. Take note that the Notice of Intention to marry must be completed and in my hands one month and one day prior to the wedding. If you are unable to meet with me in Byron, we can do all the formalities by phone, email, post and fax.
About "Celebration"
Each marriage, each name giving and even each funeral is the occasion for joyful sharing and opportunity to make a public statement so that your community can acknowledge you and help you celebrate life as you change from being single to being married, as you welcome your child or commemorate the life of a special person who has died.
It is important to take the time to mark these transitions with rituals that have real meaning for you and reflect your own outlook on life.
Jonathon and Julia wrote their own vows:
I, Jonathon Paul, take you Julia Louise,
Just as you are, to share my life.
I promise to walk hand in hand with you
Into our future together
Whatever it brings
To look after you and to allow you to look after me
I ask our friends and family to witness
That I take you as my lawful wife.
I give you this ring to remind you that I love you.
