2007 Splendour in the Grass

Splendour had already announced the festival dates (4-5 Aug ‘07)… to day they confirmed the location as Belongil Fields, tickets will be on sale 14 May (9am) and the first lineup announcement;

Saturday August 4th
Powderfinger, Kaiser Chiefs, Lily Allen, Sarah Blasko, Tilly & The Wall, Grinspoon, The Hold Steady, Hot Chip, Cat Empire, Blue King Brown and Sara Tindley


Sunday August 5th

Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Hoodoo Gurus, Hilltop Hoods, Klaxons, The Shins, The Dirty Three, Expatriate, Josh Pyke. Airbourne and The Ride

Plus some cool info on how you can buy a ‘Green Ticket’.

Byron Bay Markets - on Easter Monday

Byron Bay Community Market - Easter Monday 9th April 2007

Hundreds of craft, clothing and jewellery stalls as well as fresh local produce and delicious food and drinks.

There will plenty for the kids to do with candle making, face painting, tie dying plus a bouncing castle, merry-go-round and pony rides.

Wild Marmalade and Juzzie Smith will be entertaining us from 9am to 3pm, and Buskers will perform throughout the day.

Charities of the day will be Youth Crew and Byron Bay Netball Association
