Summersong Music Camp
Alison Pearl presents the 8th annual SUMMERSONG MUSIC CAMP, Jan 17 - 23, 2007 at Lake Ainsworth Sport & Rec Centre, Lennox Head, NSW (8 minutes south of Byron Bay).
The ultimate opportunity to play music round the clock, with a wild assortment of like-minded folks from around the country, and around the world, while residing mid-summer directly on the beach and ti tree lake. Summersong is geared towards folks 17 years and up who play at ANY level. Classes this year will be: Songwriting (2 different groups), A Cappella singing (2 groups), Vocal Techniques, Guitar (2 levels), African Percussion and Dance, Performance Skills, comedy, Bodywork/Breathwork/Improvisation. There are evening activities for the whole group that encompass performing, jamming, celebrating, song circles & suprrises. This year’s faculty: Tony Backhouse, Kristina Olsen (USA), Gyan, Mandy Nolan, Karl Farren, Richard Lawton, Kathryn Riding, Steve Nugent.
