Byron Bay produces some amazing people. We are home to a few of the best surfers in the world. We are also known for breeding a creative bunch of people. And sometimes we get lucky and the two mix together. In the Spirit of one of the greatest Aussie culture movies of all time, yes, I’m talking about one of my favorites, Morning of The Earth, comes a new movie by Local Musicians/Surfers from The Aussie East Coast.

From what I gather Dave Rastovich and a whole heap of other gifted surfers/musicians shacked up in a house together and made music the same way you surf waves. You don’t know whats coming, you don’t know which way you’re gonna go, and you never get to do the same thing again.

The artists played in a surfing spirit and captured some excellent surf footage in the process. And luckily for us they’ll be screening their labour of love at The Byron Community Centre on November 30th.
