Synopsis
Lily Gin.gina is a women in her 70’s and the last initiated female elder of the Wardaman people of Victoria River District in the Top End of the Northern Territory
Lily’s oral knowledge about the laws of the land from her ancestors is transformed to written Wardaman words and the children are inspired by the bush education.
By visiting the spectacular rock art places of her country Lily reveals to the young girls the meanings of ancestral images connected to the origins of women’s law.
